Christmas Memorial Service: Tuesday 14th December

‘Light a Candle for a Loved One with Memoria and Macmillan’

As we enter the season of remembrance, we are also coming out of one of the most difficult times in living memory and, this year we will be holding our annual services of remembrance across our Memoria, Memorial parks.

We are preparing these for local people to attend in person, but also very aware that not everybody is yet ready to return to attended events, as such we are also streaming these services so people can watch from wherever they choose to be.

Whether you choose to attend, or watch the service elsewhere, we will along with our charitable partner Macmillan Cancer Support offer everybody the chance to include their loved one’s picture and name with these beautiful services.

‘Light a Candle for a Loved One with Memoria and Macmillan’ this Christmas at our Memorial Service. This will be a chance to come together and remember those we have lost at this poignant time.

Our team, along with local celebrants and community representatives will open the service with a warm welcome, some poems and of course some Christmas carols.

There will then be a very special five-minute reflective display where we will lower the Christmas lighting and display photographs of our loved ones and their names, whilst our team light a candle in their memory.

This will be a very special moment where we can all pause, remember, and reflect.

At Memoria Flintshire the service will be on Tuesday 14th December at 7pm, we do hope you will be able to join us.

Spaces are limited, so please register via our Eventbrite page.
